The first thing we did when we were there was meet Vanessa Shelton and Julie Koene. Then we got a paper for the scavenger hunt. The people in my group were Lily Barnes, Kristen Bertram, Maddie Hovey, and Lauren Hodson (our counselor).

Then two students from the University of Iowa came in this little room and talked to us and Anthony held a microphone up to them while they were speaking. They talked to us about staying in school they also told us about there life. Then, they gave us a tour (which was really fun)!

After that we left to go eat! We ate at this really fancy dormitory. It was an all you can eat buffet so I had one piece of chicken, four pieces of turkey, and two helpings of mashed potatoes, two servings of gravy, and I shared a plate of curly fries with Summer and Lily. I also had two glasses of cherry coke, and for dessert I had Fritos and pudding (Yum, yum, yum)! While we were there, Brianna won a plaque and a check for $100.00! Even though it was a long trip there it was worth the while!
