Joining extra-curricular activities are fun but trying to manage that pressure and school work is hard. The activities are privileges that you get, and to keep those privileges you must keep up with your academics. It sounds hard but, if you make time in your schedule in for everything you should be fine. You have to keep your grade point average up while maintaining the order of your activity. High school has a lot of distractions as you probably already know, but it’s a good thing to not give in to those distractions.
All the grades on the grading scale represent something. A’s are 4’s, B’s are 3’s, C’s are 2’s, and so on. The higher your GPA (Grade Point Average) the better. Keeping order in your sports or club activities are important too. You can’t just concentrate on one thing only if you have something else important to do! If you don’t keep control in your activities you’re surly to be kicked off or relieved from it. That means no more football, newspaper, or even the Key Club. Well, Key Club might let you stay.
Doing sports, clubs, academics, jobs, or whatever can be hard to do all at once. Do what you can and try to maintain your schedule. Make time for everything, don’t join every single activity. If things don’t get done or accomplished, the blame will be all on you.
