No one deserves to be underserved

Deena DeLeon
For centuries the issue of what people deserve and what they recieve has been a crucial issue. Some receive what they desereve, others recieve more than they deserve, but many recieve much less than they deserve. In other words, they are undeserved

These are the people that are underprivelaged or have less advantages in life than others. The people that no matter how hard they try can never seem to acheive whatever it is they desire.

In many instances, the main obstacle keeping those who are undeserved from what they are worthy of is money.

Society has proven to us time and time again that in order to get ahead in life we must have money, and lots of it.

Money is the one thing that holds so many talented and gifted students from showing their true potential. It keeps the underprivelaged talented singers, artists and athletes from showing the world their true gifts.

Why should some people get handed what ever it is they want while others work hard for what they want and recieve nothing?

Sure, there are scholarships and other programs to help those less fortunate but only a small amount of the thousands of students who apply are chosen.

In cases like these thousands of students are left broken hearted. Their dreams crushed because they can’t afford whatever it is they wanted and still weren’t able to receive assistance to contribute to their dreams.

In a perfect world, no one would be undeserved and everybody would have equal oppurtunities, but for now, only those fortunate enough will able to reach their dream.
