Romaro Houston
My summer was very fun, and I got to hang out and see my family and friends that I have not seen in a long time. Summer is so exciting because there is so much stuff to do.

The first part of my summer I went and saw my father, mother and grand-father, who lived in Houston, Texas. I did so many fun activities and really enjoyed my vacation. I went to a baseball game with my father. My visit in Houston was a lifetime experience.

I also went to Memphis to see my mother. I saw so many family members and got to catch up with so many of my old friends. I had a good time hanging out with them and spending time with my family, and walking on Bill Street and remembering the old times.

The rest of the summer I was in Davenport. I really just played basketball and hung out with some of my school friends. I did not do much here but it was relaxing not to have school.

I also went to see my grandmother in Mississippi. I have not seen her in a very long time. I was so happy to see her. We just hung out and she took me to the mall. She also introduced me to all of her friends at work. It was another good time I have had this summer. It was so hot so I went swimming every day that I was there.

My sister also came in to visit me for a week. It was the best time ever. She took me out to eat and shopping. It was a joy to see her and we had lots of fun.

My summer went very well and I had fun in all my activities. I am very glad that I was able to reunite with all my family and friends. They really showed me a good time and I really enjoyed my self and cannot wait until next summer.
