A variety of vendor booths, ranging from restaurants and limousine companies to salons and beauty suppliers, informed the students and gave out door prizes. Facials, gift baskets and discounts on purchases were a few of the prizes.
The Prom Expo resembled the Bridal Expo, informing high school students about prom styles the same way The Bridal Expo modeled styles for new brides.
The committee hoped to raise $5000 for the Central/North After Prom, with a minimum expectation of $2000-$3000.
The 6 week setup for the event included: the booking of vendors, preparing models and completing booth and stage setup. Student activities, such as the modeling groups, fashion teams and marketing groups were organized by Deb Burke.
