Dress shopping, hair appointments, dinner reservations, etc… homecoming fever has finally subsided.
Themed "Moonlight and Roses", the homecoming dance took place from 8-11 pm in the cafeteria.
‘Bring-a-Buddy’ mixes fun with learning

The Bring a Buddy to Study program is designed the help students with their classes and to broaden their knowledge.
The program started Sept. 18 with a fifth block math study session taught by Steve Kutler or knitting and croeche with Bev Schraeder. Tuesdays, Rebecca Buening will teach a vocabulary and creative speaking class. Thursdays, Debbie Anderson will offers lessons in the auditorium.

The BlackhawK was recognized with a first place and special merits from National Scholastic Press Association and named a silver medalist with all Columbian Honors from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, of special interest was that the BlackhawK received a perfect score for business practices. |
