Teenagers' behavior causes clash between generations
Erin McCluskey
As toddlers we believe everything we touch is in our possession, ours to throw or even ours to chew on. However, as we grow and supposedly mature does that attitude really change?
From allowance to grades, teenagers have come to believe that they have an entitlement to the things they receive, for which members of the preceding generation had to work hard to earn.
Santa's cookie consumption
Chris Cook & Kyle Jewel
Based on the fact that there are approximately 6.2 billion people in the world and that each person gives about five cookies to Santa, he would consume about 31 billion cookies in one night.
Also, supposing that each cookie is about five centimeters long, one hundred and fifty-five billion centimeters of cookies would be eaten. If all of these cookies are placed side by side, that is the equivalent to about one million, fifty-five thousand kilometers. This factors out to nine hundred fifty-six thousand, seven hundred and ninety miles, which is about seventy-seven and a half trips around the world.
