Recently, low-cost airline JetBlue Airways have attracted much unwanted attention in a widely ridiculed series of events,exposing even the most solid-seeming company’s ability to crumble because of bad decisions. Thousands of passengers were stuck for up to 10 hours on airplanes at New York’s LaGuardia airport, and many more waited impatiently in the airport terminals. Stories of overflowing toilets and anger-induced fist fights have filled the papers, but a more important issue has been mostly overlooked: what is actually being done to fix the problem?
