Winter sports preview

This winter, athletes will be preparing for a big year in the winter sports season. The boys basketball program is flying to new heights this year; this year's team has such high expectations because of a great year last year.
“We have a pretty good shot at taking it all [the conference]. We have good returning players this year along with some good sophomores,” senior Zach Keyon said.
Football seniors remember 2003 season

In preparation for the seniors’ final football game, the seniors shared great memories over the years with the juniors on the 50 yard line at Brady Street Stadium.
After the meeting with the junior football players, the seniors then went across the street to the practice field to create one final memory. With their cars parked in a circle and headlights beaming, the seniors began to dig for an item that's been hidden since their freshman year. The video footage of the varsity team of 2003 and their devastating loss to Muscatine by more than 50 points, which was buried to eradicate the memory.
